The Backstorynspired by the scent of a passing woman on a flight one Spring afternoon, I had no other choice but to ask her what she was wearing. "Oud" was her response. Puzzled, I persistently asked her who it was by and where she got it from. "It's a cultural perfume, made by the Emirati women in the UAE. When you land, go to Dubai mall and ask about it", and I did just that. I immediately got my own oud inspired perfume with heart notes such as oud and amber, but it did not have that distinct woody, but sweet scent that the lady on the plane had. I had no other choice but to create my own. I had to do it.
The ‘2023 Regal Collection’ was created purely out of inspiration, with of course top, base and heart notes that would tell a story of its own. The woody, oriental, floral scent is one of a kind. A top-seller, that I will continue to wear. I am, you are, that passing person on a flight with the scent to die for. The 2023 Regal Collection by Aluel Deng.
